FOR HEALTHY LIVING

Being healthy means more than simply being physically active. It’s about maintaining a balanced spirit, mind and body. The Y is a place where you can work toward that balance by challenging yourself to learn a new skill or hobby, fostering connections with friends through our lifelong learning programs, or bringing your loved ones closer together through our many family-centered activities. At the Y, it’s not about the activity you choose as much as it is about the benefits of living healthier on the inside as well as the outside.

FAMILY TIME

Our Y brings families together to have fun and grow together. Facing challenging economic times and soaring fuel prices has many families looking for creative, cost-saving alternatives for enjoying summer vacation. But great family memories and fun, physical activity doesn’t have to break the bank. Stanly County Family YMCA offers ideas for family fun that focuses on physical well being and building family connections.

HEALTH, WELL-BEING
& FITNESS

Because we know that healthy lifestyles are achieved through nurturing mind, body and spirit, well-being and fitness at the Y includes more than just working out. In addition to our physical fitness classes and facilities, we provide educational programs to promote healthier decisions, and offer a variety of programs that support physical, intellectual and spiritual strength.

The Y is committed to providing programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. We make every effort to ensure that no one is turned away due to inability to pay. Click to read more about our Open Door Scholarship Program for financial assistance.
